Planet Direct is one of the premiere full-service direct mail production facilities in the mid-Atlantic region. Our team of over 160 associates are focused on innovation, building partnerships with our customers, leveraging technology to create efficiency in our manufacturing environment, and pushing the envelope.

Our journey began when our leadership team acquired a small print and mail shop in 2008. At that time, we operated within a 12,000 square foot facility, which housed our operations and our warehouse… space was tight. We quickly outgrew that location and moved to a 30,000 square foot facility and rebranded as Planet Direct in 2013… we finally had some elbow room.

The move allowed us to expand our services and the volume of work continued to grow quickly. We needed to expand our operation again just a few years later. In 2017 we added another 30,000 square foot facility. The additional space was welcome, but we missed operating within a single facility, so we started making plans for our next move.

In 2020, we acquired land and began construction on a built-to-suit 115,000 square foot advanced manufacturing facility located at Innovation Park in Manassas, VA.
